HUNKS Online

It's been a while without an update! Sorry about that friends.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at the Winnipeg "iF" Improv Festival and Skit or Die last week. They were a ton of fun!

We've got one more show coming up in Winnipeg before the end of the year. We are performing at the next Winnipeg Comedy Showcase on Friday December 22nd at the Park Theatre. Send us an email if you want to buy cheaper advance tickets. Only $10! These shows sell out every time, so don't wait on it.

We've also started a Patreon account. If you like what we do, especially related to the Podcast, it's a great way to help support that. We love doing the podcast, but it's a costly endeavour. Anything you can give to help support that really goes a long way.

Every week we release bonus audio content to our Patreon subscribers, and we've also posted some erotic fan fiction. We've got some fun ideas for new bonus content as well.

If you like what we do, and have the means to do so, please head over to
and help us out.

Canadian Shows

We're back from the States and we had an amazing time! Huge, huge, huge thank you to the staff, volunteers and especially the audiences at both the Chicago Sketchfest and SF Sketchfest. We'll hopefully see you all again before too long.

Now that we're home, we've got more exciting shows to announce!

First up, we're off to Vancouver for JFL Northwest to open up for the hilarious, talented and all-around sweethearts in Hip.Bang! and Peter n' Chris. That's on Friday February 24th at the Improv Centre on Granville Island, and it's only 15 bucks! Don't sleep on that Vancouver, buy tickets right now:

The next weekend we're off to Toronto to do 2 shows in the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th we're performing at Comedy Bar, and tickets are on sale for that right now as well!

Winnipeg, we haven't forgotten about you. We have another Skit or Die on Friday February 10th with the lineup being announced later this week.

Shows for the rest of 2016

So many shows in little ol' Winnipeg.

The first Skit or Die was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who came to watch and to all the performers for delivering so hard. Can't wait for more of these.

Saturday November 12th we record another live podcast at Wee Johnny's. We're also going to record some audio of a couple old sketches. Dan Glasswick is opening the show before he moves to Toronto. Only $5!

Saturday November 19th we open for Outside Joke at the Gas Station Arts Centre. We love OJ and are so excited to do a show that's a mix of some old favourites, some stuff that hasn't been seen in Winnipeg since 2015 and a handful of new and reworked sketches. It' going to be a blast! Tickets are $15 and you can get them online at or by calling 204-284-9477.

Friday December 9th we are back home at the Park Theatre! And this one is going to be a doozie. We are so excited we can barely contain ourselves, because we have super special guests coming in, all the way from Vancouver! Hip.Bang! are going to be performing their new show "The History of Romance" for the first time in Winnipeg! This show received 5 stars and sold out crowds at the Edmonton Fringe, played at JFL Northwest in Vancouver and is currently in Oslo, Norway! Get all the details over at the Live Shows page, but buy your tickets in advance! Only $15 if you get them online

Finally, we will be doing another edition of Skit or Die at Wee Johnny's on December 30th. More details to come!

Regretfully, HUNKS has parted ways with Sam McLean. Sam has been an integral part of creating and defining HUNKS’ voice from day one. He will be missed and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Shows in the back half of 2016

Guys! We're doing so many shows!

This Friday we are performing at the Oddblock Comedy Festival with super cool guests Clare Belford, Brett McCrindle and Graham Clark who hosts Stop Podcasting Yourself. Holy shit what a lineup! And we're doing some new/reworked old sketches. It's going to be a blast, so buy your tickets NOW right here:

Next Friday we're doing our SECOND ever live podcast taping at Wee Johnny's in the Exchange. The first one went so well we figured, "fuck it, we'll do another one in two weeks." Only five bucks to hang out in a basement and watch us talk to each other? What's not to love?

Then at the end of September we're headed to the U.S. of A. for our first ever show outside of Canada! We'll be in Seattle on September 23rd at Sketchfest! So if you know anyone in Seattle, let them know.

In October we'll probably do another live podcast and another new show format for us. Stay tuned for details on that.

Then, on Saturday Nov. 19, we'll be doing a set at the Gas Station Arts Centre opening for Winnipeg Musical Improv legends, and all around great pals, Outside Joke! We are so excited and honoured to be included in their upcoming comedy season!

In December we've got another big Park Theatre show of our own planned, and then maybe we'll take a nap. Or we'll do a couple more live podcasts. WHO KNOWS!?

#WpgFringe 2016 Wrap Up

We just finished a run at the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival and it was a total blast. We performed 7 shows at the beautiful Tom Hendry Warehouse theatre to some of the biggest crowds we've ever seen. We even sold out one night! The reviews were very kind once again, but the audiences were even kinder.

Thank you to everyone who came out, and everyone who helped in any way. Especially Lindsay Loster for helping us set up the screen, and our amazing Venue Tech, Miguel Fortier.

We're already back to work on new stuff and should have some exciting show announcements in the very near future. We're even going to start doing live recordings of our podcast in front of an audience.

Stay tuned!

Edmonton! Improvaganza!

After having a blast in Montreal for the Sketchfest we're back home to record some podcasts, work on our show for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, and do some laundry before we pack our bags again and hit the road for Edmonton to perform at Rapid Fire Theatre's annual comedy festival Improvaganza!

We're so excited to be doing this festival and to hit another city this year. In Vancouver and Montreal we've had the opportunity to see what amazing comedic talent Canada has, and can't wait to be among some greats from around the world in Edmonton.

We're performing on Tuesday June 21 so if you're in Edmonton, or know someone who is, send them our way. Buy tickets by clicking here.

Shows on Shows on Shows

Last night we performed in the Sketch Comedy Revue as part of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival with a ton of outstanding performers. The sketch community is Winnipeg is growing and it's pretty outstanding to be a part of it.

We've got two more shows in Winnipeg this month. April 22 we're at The Park Theatre for the Winnipeg Comedy Showcase doing a 20 minute set of some of our best material. These shows always sell out so snap up tickets before it's too late at or drop us an email and we'll hook you up!

Then on April 24 we're back at the Park Theatre with our own brand new show for our first birthday celebration! We're really excited to present a bunch of brand new weirdo sketches and to share the stage with Lawrence Bleechman and J Williamez. Get tickets at

Then on May 13 we're in Montreal for the Montreal Sketchfest! Only Dana speaks French, so we're probably in trouble.

More exciting show news to come, if you can possibly believe it. Maybe in 2017 we'll get some sleep.

The H.U.N.K.S. Podcast is finally here! You can download or stream it directly from our website. Or better yet, if you're an iTunes user you can subscribe to it and get all the episodes automatically. Open up that iTunes by clicking here.

Once you've listened to it, if you like it please tell your friends. Rate and review it whether you like it or not, it all helps. If you want to get in contact and let us know what you think drop us an email or tweet us. We want to know!

We're also hard at work on new sketches and can't wait to perform THREE shows in Winnipeg in April.  More details to follow.

Winnipeg Comedy Festival

We're thrilled to be performing in the Winnipeg Comedy Festival on Thursday April 7th at the Gas Station Arts Centre. It's a who's who of Winnipeg sketch with H.U.N.K.S., Hot Thespian Action, Bucko, and Stephen and Caity, hosted by Kevin McDonald from Kids In The Hall! It's going to be a blast. Buy your tickets now by clicking right here. You'll also be able to catch Dana, Tim and Matt performing stand up throughout the festival as well.

We'll be back with more exciting show announcements soon. It's going to be a busy spring and summer in the world of H.U.N.K.S.

Home and ready for 2016!

We all made it home in one piece from the Vancouver Sketch Comedy Festival and it was fun as shit. Thanks for having us Vancouver, we can't wait to come back!

In addition to our own show we got to be a part of the closing show of the festival, Sketchferno, a fun show/experiment that was rehearsed, teched and performed all within the span of 12 hours. It was directed by Tom Hill and Paul Blinov and featured H.U.N.K.S., Hip.Bang!, Gossamer Obsessions and Peter n' Chris. It was truly amazing to share the stage with such hilarious groups. They will all be in Winnipeg for the Fringe Festival this summer, so expect to hear us talk about them more as that gets closer!

Stay tuned for more show news.

First off, thanks to everyone who came out to our last show of 2015 at The Park Theatre. We really appreciate you guys packing the place for our last hometown show for a little while. And thanks to CRUMBS for being amazing geniuses as always.

Next week we're headed to Vancouver for the Vancouver Sketch Comedy Festival then it's back home to spend a bit of time holed up, plotting our next moves on our path to world domination. Also, we'll probably plan some stuff for our Winnipeg Fringe Festival show this summer.

One Last Show

Thank you to everyone who came out to our fifth show of the year at The Park Theatre. It was great to see so many people despite the first snowstorm of the year. Huge thanks to both Bucko and Jump Shark for being hilarious and doing the show with us.

We have one final show this year before we take a break from performing (in Winnipeg...) for a few months. We'll have announcements on that front soon.

In the meantime, see us while you can at The Park Theatre on December 30th with our very special guests CRUMBS!

The Home Stretch

We performed another, entirely new show at the end of September to a FANTASTIC audience. It's a little overdue, but thank you to everyone who came out and gave us such a warm welcome back to the Park after a summer away.

You've got two more chances to see us at the Park Theatre this year before we take a brief hiatus in early 2016.

November 19 we are joined by the hilarious character based sketch comedy of Bucko and the improv stylings of Jump Shark (featuring Sam McLean of H.U.N.K.S. fame!)

Then for our big year end blowout show on December 30 we are thrilled to share the stage with improv legends Crumbs!

Make sure we see your beautiful faces before we hibernate for the winter.

Oddblock Wrapup

Last weekend we performed in the first ever ODDBLOCK Comedy Festival in South Osborne. It was an outstanding weekend organized by John B. Duff, Kevin Mozdzen and Erick Casselman. They brought in some truly amazing acts that gave Winnipeg the funniest weekend it may have ever seen.

Our show was standing room only and people were being turned away at the door. So what I'm trying to say, is get your tickets for our September 20th show yesterday.

We couldn't be more thrilled to announce that we are performing in our first Comedy Festival at the end of August.

On Saturday, August 29th at 8:45 we will take the stage (floor? kitchen?) at Monticchio in South Osborne as part of the inaugural ODDBLOCK Comedy Block Party in Winnipeg. We're performing some of our best sketches from past shows interspersed with stand-up sets from our hilarious pals J.D. Renaud, Andrew Lizotte, Andy Noble and Keener.

Tickets are on sale now at but what you should really do is buy a festival pass and take in as many shows as you possibly can. The line up is STACKED and you'd be a fool to miss it.

Fringe Festival Thanks

We just finished our first Winnipeg Fringe Festival run and it couldn't have gone better!

That couldn't have happened without the help of some very great people, and since we forgot to put any such thank you's in to our program, what better place than here.
