6th Annual Laugh More, Give More, Comedy Night

The Laugh More, Give More, Comedy Night event was founded in 2014. Last year, Meghan Riley and Carmyn Aleshka co-hosted and raised $50,000 for two incredible causes. This year, the dynamic duo along with The Upside Down Tree team have set the goal for 2019 to raise $75,000 for two important mental health non-profits in the city.
To date, Laugh More, Give More, Comedy Events have raised more than $140,000 for extraordinary organizations. Past recipients include: The Fort Garry Women’s Centre, the Women’s Health Clinic, the Bravestone Centre, the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba and KIDTHINK Children’s Mental Health Centre Inc. The 2018 event hosted more than 300 attendees and that number is anticipated to be even higher this year!
This year’s Laugh More, Give More Event has already secured a sponsor that will cover ALL costs of food, drinks and the venue; that sponsor is Paradigm Insurance Inc. This generous donation makes it such that every dollar raised will go directly to this year’s chosen fund recipients: KIDTHINK Children’s Mental Health Centre Inc. and The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba.
